MARL / VESTOLIT

Since 2002, SCHMIDT is located on the premises of the Marl Chemical Park and was integrated into its customer VESTOLIT’s logistics processes right from the beginning.

PVC powder is conveyed via pipelines directly from the VESTOLIT production line into the SCHMIDT silo battery, from where it is bagged into sacks and big bags, and storing/warehousing and transshipment of goods effected. For E/B-PCV 28 silo units with a capacity of 350 m³ each are available, for HIS-PVC 6 loading silos with a capacity of 600 m³ each. For the manufacture of S-PVC, SCHMIDT operates its customer’s facility consisting of 4 loading silos. Two warehouse sections serve as intermediate storage for packaged goods.
